And I finally met the owner of the Model A I see often. He drives it every day, and has put 320,000 miles on it since 1985.

What a fantastic selection of cars, I’m amazed. I have that HNNNNNNG feeling for a lot of them.
I’m pretty sure the Torino is gonna be the next muscle car to shoot up in value. Tom Cutter from
Barn find hunter said so and I’ve been thinking about it ever since. I’ve always ignored it but recently I’ve been looking at pics of it and I’m really into it now.

Slightly relevant question. Who else hates that cars at the car shows have their hoods open? It’s actually one of the main things I dislike about car shows. It breaks up the beauty and design IMO. Looking at an engine doesn’t offset that enough for me.

I like the mechanical aspects of a car more than aesthetics, so it really doesn’t bother me.

I like seeing the engines in cars. It's interesting to see how people have solved problems, dressed things up, etc.

I'm surprised they haven't already. They're so good looking.

I’m torn, I love looking at beautiful cars and seeing the lines, and you’re right, the hood breaks that up. But Im also an engine nerd and love seeing whats under hood.
I propose a show with "hood up" and "hood down" times so we can all see both aspects.

I almost bought a Torino Cobra Jet back in the early 90’s. It needed some work, but was perfectly drivable. I deemed it “too expensive” at $7,500 and passed on it.
I’m going to puke now.

That’s a good idea.
